Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli  - Wildrace Africa Amboseli Safaris (Approx. 4 Hours)

You will be picked from the airport or your Nairobi Hotel followed by quick briefing from one of Wildrace Africa Safari tour specialist and later depart for Amboseli National park at the foot of the African roof top, mount kilimajaro arriving in Amboseli in good time for early lunch. Check in and later enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive at 4 O’clock for 2 hours. Return later to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.  Overnight: Ol Tukai Safari lodge/ Amboseli Serena Safari lodge / Amboseli Sentrim safari lodge/ Amboseli Kibo luxury tented camp or any of similar depending on your Kenya safari tour travel budget bracket.

Day 2: Full day Safari Tour Kenya exploring Amboseli  National park – Wildrace Africa Tour to Amboseli National Park.

Have a morning game drive before breakfast till 9a.m. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. Afternoon game drive is at 4o’clock for 2 hours. Overnight: Ol Tukai

Amboseli is Kenya’s elephant park par excellence. One of the oldest parks in Kenya, originally part of the colonial era’s ‘Southern Maasai Reserve’, Amboseli became a wildlife sanctuary in the 1940s and was declared a national park in 1974. It is rightly one of Kenya’s most popular safari regions and, with its iconic views of the wildlife against a backdrop of majestic Kilimanjaro is a highlight of many Kenya holidays and best for wildlife safaris encounters in Kenya.

Day 3: Amboseli  National Park Tours to Lake Naivasha – Wildrace Africa Kenya Wildlife tour and Safaris (Approx. 5 hours)

After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon, you will have a Boat ride to Crescent Island where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas and countless bird species
Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus.  Afternoon wind and storms can cause the Lake to become suddenly rough and produce high waves. For this reason, the local Maasai christened the lake Nai’posha meaning ‘rough water’.
The lake and its surroundings are rich in natural bounty, and the fertile soils and water supply have made this one of Kenya’s prime agricultural regions. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree.
Lake Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination territory, best for specialist birding tours in Kenya with over 400 recorded bird species. The waters of the Lake obviously attract many water birds including the continent’s highest concentration of African Fish Eagles, many Goliath Heron, Jacanas, Pied and Malachite Kingfisher, Red-knobbed coot, Spoonbills, Little Grebe, rare Maccoa Duck, African Darters and Saddle Billed Stork.
The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo population sleeps the day out in the shallows.
The region surrounding the Lake is well worth exploring. There are two smaller lakes nearby, Oloidien, and Sonachi, a bright green crater lake which are also birding destinations. While the cliffs of Hell’s Gate National Park are and important nesting area for many raptor species.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha Safari to Lake Nakuru National Park – Wildrace Africa Kenya Wildlife and the Rift valley Lakes Tour

After breakfast leave for Lake Nakuru which is 1 hour 30 minutes away. Have a game drive once you arrive then have lunch in Lodge. Have another game drive from 4p.m.
Lake Nakuru National Park is flamingo land. It is home to a huge number of lesser flamingos. At any given time, every flamingo in the world seems to be at this beautiful shallow alkaline lake, just south of Nakuru town. The lake is a spectacular ocean of pink surrounded by forest and plains that are home other wildlife too. With a total area size of 368 square kilometers and home to more than 450 different kinds of birds, Lake Nakuru park is one of the finest ornithological sights in the world. The Lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru Kenya Safari Tours to Maasai Mara – Wildrace Africa Masai mara safari tours (Approx. 5 hours)

Have an early breakfast then depart for Maasai Mara with a stop in Narok for lunch. Once you arrive in Mara, have an introductory game drive till 6 p.m. when you head to the camp for dinner and overnight stay. Spend this whole day with a full-day game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful savannah land. There will be picnic lunch at 1300hours along Mara River where you will have a chance to spot more hippos with this Wildrace Africa Masai Mara Safari Tours & Packages

Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast to arrive Nairobi for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. Thereafter, be dropped at the airport for your flight back home or hotel of your choice. Safari ends at around 3p.m.
