Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:​ Nairobi – Amboseli. (3.5 -4  Hrs – Approx. 250 km.)

​Pick up from Airport or your ​Nairobi hotel or residence​ and then depart ​for Amboseli National park at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Lunch at a lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli  ​Oltukai Lodge/ Amboseli Seren Lodge or Kibo ​Luxury tented ​safari camp​ for middle range lodge safari accommodation.​

​Day 2: ​Amboseli- Lake Naivasha – (340 km: Approx. 5-6 hrs)

Morning breakfast followed by a game drive as you exit Amboseli for Lake Naivasha to arrive in good time for Lunch, Have Lunch and later proceed to hells gate National park for game drive and other optional activities. We will later proceed to seasons hotel in Narock for overnight stay to get to masai mara the next day in early morning as early as 9:00am

​Day 3: Seasons Hotel Narock – Masai mara​ Game Reserves​(Wildebeest Migration trails)

Full day  spent exploring the park trailing wildebeest migration  optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Ilkeliani Tented
The Masai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara.

Day 4 & 5 – Masai Mara Great Migration Trails 

Check out of Ilkeliani Tented camp and proceed for further game drives in the vast Masai Mara plains in search of the big 5 – Check inn at Mara Ashnil Luxury camp where you spend 2 nights as you trail the wildebeest herds .
A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to October. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park

​Day 6: ​Masai Mara – Nairobi: 265km – Approx. 5hrs

Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive​ bidding bye to Mara plains by an extra final game drive as you exit the Masai Mara​ back to Nairobi with lunch en route to arrive in Nairobi by 16:00 hrs where the safari ends with an airport drop off.​
