Detailed Itinerary

Arrival : Pick up from Airport followed by a transfer to the Hotel of your choice booked by you/ We can as well help you this one booked.

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Elementaita

Your safari begins from Nairobi at 7.30 AM when we pick you from your hotel or the airport. We drive for 2 hours through the rift valley escarpment and on to Lake Elementaita Kenya. Check in at The Pelican Lodge at Lake Elementaita Kenya, relax and have lunch. In the afternoon take a walk along the shores of Lake Elementaita to view the bird life that includes the pelicans, the flamingos and a host of other bird species. Enjoy your dinner and overnight rest at The Pelican Lodge at Lake Elementaita Kenya.  Day 2: Nakuru national park

After a hearty breakfast at 7:30 AM you will be driven to the lake Nakuru national park. In this park you will be able to view the myriads of flamingos, the rhinos grazing on the lake shore. Lake Nakuru is rhino sanctuary and you can also see other wildlife species like the zebras, buffaloes and the elephants. At 1.00pm leave the park and return to the lodge for a hot lunch. In the afternoon take a swim or just relax at your cottage balcony to enjoy the magnificent views of Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After your breakfast drive for 5 hrs through Narok, to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch at The Ol Moran Tented Camp at Maasai Mara Kenya. After lunch, take a game-drive in this world-famous reserve. Offering an abundance of herbivores, the Mara makes the ideal hunting ground for Kenya's famous big cats and hosts her largest population of lions. It also offers the best chance of spotting a leopard in the wild. Other predators include cheetah and spotted hyena. All meals and overnight at the Ol Moran Tented Camp at Maasai Mara Kenya. Day 4: Maasai Mara national reserve

After breakfast take a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Historically teaming with wildlife, the Mara is famous for the large herds of elephant and buffalo that meander its plains; also for the fat pods of hippo that wallow in its mud-brown rivers. Other stars include the distinctive Maasai giraffe, plum-colored topi, Coke's hartebeest, Grant's and Thomson's gazelle, zebra, impala, Kirk's dik-dik, bush buck, water buck and red duiker. The Reserve also boasts plentiful Nile crocodile, monitor lizard, baboon, vervet, blue and red-tailed monkeys, nocturnal bush babies, and tree hyrax. Day 5: Maasai Mara – Isebania to Serengeti National Park

We the lodge soon after breakfast and drive through the southern part of the reserve viewing game as we proceed to the Tanzanian border at Isebania / Sirari. Proceed to Serengeti national park with packed lunches enroute - game is viewed as we proceed to Maptito Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight stay

6 Serengeti National park

Day spent exploring the vast park rich with abundant wildlife Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Mapito Tented Lodge (http://mapito-camp-serengeti.com/) / Kati kati Luxury tented camp or any of similar.

Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.
Serengeti also offers rewarding bird viewing with ostrich and kori bustard being common, a variety of larks, finches, and raptors can be seen but the most distinctive small bird is the lilac breasted roller.

7 Serengeti –Ngorongoro conservation area via Olduvai gorge

We view game as we drive southeast up into the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area .Stop over at The Olduvai Gorge with picnic lunch en route Over at the Olduvai where we spend the night at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge at the crater rim.
The Olduvai Gorge cuts through rock beds layered in time sequence from 2 million years ago to the present and it is here where humanoid bones have been found dating back to over 1.75 million years including a direct ancestor of modern man. Fossil foot prints (over three million years old) have also been found here and are the most ancient footprints yet discovered. There is an excellent site museum where you can explore the diggings with a guide and it is also a great place to view birds such as the purple grenadier, red and yellow barbet, speckle fronted weaver and slaty colored boubou.

8 Ngorongoro- crate tour

Breakfast at leisure then descend into the crater for a full day crater tour with packed lunches . Ascend the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge located at the realm of the crater (http://www.ngorongoro.cc/) or any of similar.

The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and was initially thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro. The crater has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s eco-system. The crater is actually a caldera, measures 22.5 km’s across and the rim walls stand 600m high. Views from within and from the rim are breathtaking (as can be seen from the picture). The crater houses 30,000 animals and a large variety of birds, which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons

9 Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara National park

Breakfast then exit the park and drive to Lake Manyara National park .Explore the park famed for tree climbing lions. Picnic lunch is offered .Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara twiga Lodge.( http://www.twigacampsitelodge.com/) or any of similar.

The Lake Manyara National park is serene and beautiful with main attractions of a rich bird life, tree-climbing lions, its elephants, and hippos that you can see at closer range than most other places. Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake and at certain times of the year hosts thousands of flamingos and a diversity of other bird life. Although it is one of the smallest parks, its vegetation is so diverse enabling it to host a variety of wildlife habitats.

10 Lake Manyara – Amboseli National park

Breakfast then drive to Amboseli National park via Namanga boarder with a brief stop for lunch at Kibo palace hotel Arusha. Proceed for evening game drives at the scenic park at the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Kibo Luxury tented camp

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game

Breakfast at leisure then view game as you exit the park and drive to Nairobi to arrive by 1600 hrs With drop of back to the hotel or  Drop off at the airport to board your home bound flight.(Depending on your flight timing, you can as well have dinner at the carnivore restaurant before driven to the airport).
