Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi  – Masai Mara Safaris

We depart Nairobi in the early morning and drive down the Escarpment to the floor of the Great Rift Valley towards Narok town and Masai Mara. Lunch en route followed by an afternoon game drive.
We set up camp at our riverside campsite located just outside the park by the Talek River (and gate). The camp is equipped with clean restrooms, hot showers, kitchen and a small bar/restaurant. There is the option to upgrade to larger en-suite tents complete with bedding and private washrooms (at extra, additional cost and subject to availability).

Day 2 and 3 – Masai Mara Trails

Full day spent exploring the park through early morning and late afternoon game drives. Overnight again at the campsite.
Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common.
Day 3 – Mara to Lake Naivasha Safari Tours
Morning game drive in Masai Mara, later proceed to Naivasha arriving in the late afternoon. We spend the night at a campsite situated on the shores of Lake Naivasha.

Day 4 – Naivasha area Tours

Day spent at leisure or may opt to do optional activities (payable direct). Dinner and overnight again at the campsite.
Naivasha has numerous optional activities available (payable direct); you may visit Elsamere conservation centre, enjoy a walk around the lake, visit crater lake game sanctuary, take a boat ride to Crescent island game park, visit Mt. Longonot for a hike, or visit Hells gate for a challenging gorge walk, cycling, rock climbing or swimming at the Ol-karia geothermal hot spa- the choice is yours.

Day 5 – Naivasha- Arusha Adventure vacation

Early morning breakfast as we anticipate a long day ahead. We drive back up the escarpment via Nairobi and Namanga border. We arrive Arusha for overnight at a budget hotel.

Day 6 – Serengeti National Park Parek tours

Leaving in the morning, we depart towards Serengeti National park with lunch and game viewing en route followed by dinner and overnight at seronera campsite located within the park.
Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), it is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.

Day 7– Serengeti National Park and Holiday vacay

Full day spent exploring the park through early and morning game drives focusing on following the wildebeest herds. Overnight back at the Seronera campsite.
You can visit the park all year round but there is less game in the park during the dry season – July /October, where they migrate to the Masai Mara in Kenya. During March to May the herds move in search of grazing to the southern section and in May to June, they move towards the western corridor of the park. Serengeti in the low season will still offer game viewing to match that of any park in Africa, and for some, the fact that there will be fewer tourists may be an added bonus.

Day 8 – Ngorongoro Crater vacay

We view game as we drive southeast up into the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area where we spend the night at the Simba (Lion) campsite on the crater rim. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena.
It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals.

Day 9 – Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

We start refreshingly early to enjoy a full morning’s crater tour as we have a greater chance of seeing wildlife at this early hour. After lunch, we relocate you to Arusha town. Diner and overnight at a budget hotel.

Day 10 – Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast and an optional visit around Arusha town; we depart back to Nairobi or drop off at the airport if you have made plans to visit the spice Island of Zanzibar. End of services
COST: 2169 usd per person sharing all inclusive safari package..
